About Me
Hi! I’m Olya, a photographer in love with real, living stories.
I believe photography isn’t about “perfect poses” but about real life.
About a child’s laughter that will already sound a little different tomorrow.
About the gaze of a woman who has finally allowed herself to be at the center of the frame.
About a business that has grown from a “kitchen-table” idea into a beloved venture — and now needs a visual voice that truly does it justice.
What I Photograph and Who I Work With
There are two main directions in my work — personal stories and business projects.
And I’m equally in love with both.
My name is Olga Kulik. I’m a photographer living and working in Israel, with roots — and most of my experience — in Belarus.
For over ten years now, I’ve been helping people and brands pause, look at themselves from the outside and say: “Yes, this is really us.”
Photography came into my life for a reason.
At first, it was just an attempt to “save a moment” — friends, the road, sunsets.
Then I realized that through the camera it’s easier for me to speak to the world about what I feel and notice.
I started out shooting in Belarus: sports reportage, family stories, weddings, commercial projects.
There was a bit of everything — studios, shoots in the rain, cramped offices, rooftops and dimly lit restaurants.
Each time I was learning to see the light and the story even where, at first glance, there seemed to be nothing “wow” at all.
Moving to Israel became a new chapter.
A different language, a different kind of light.
But one thing has stayed the same: the desire to create photographs you want to come back to. Warm, honest and full of life.

For Individuals and Families
Here, it’s all about the most important and personal things:
- family photo sessions
- children’s shoots
- maternity and the first months with your baby
- love stories
- individual portraits
I know how much anxiety can come up before a shoot: “I’m not photogenic”, “the kids won’t sit still”, “my husband hates being photographed.” I’ve heard this dozens of times — and every time, by the end of the session people are surprised: “It turned out not to be scary at all, but actually pleasant.”
My role is to create a safe, warm space where you don’t need to “play someone else”. You can simply be yourself, and I will gently and carefully weave these moments into the story of your family.

For Your Business
Here, it’s all about your brand, your product and your clients:
- business portraits and content for experts
- photography for websites and social media
- food photography for restaurants and cafés
- product photography
- reportage coverage: events, educational projects, presentations
I look at a business through the eyes of both a photographer and a client. I ask questions: who are you showing this to, what emotion do you want to evoke, what is important for you to highlight — the atmosphere, quality, service, status, scale.
In the end, we create not just “nice pictures”, but a visual language that helps you sell: it draws attention, builds trust and explains without words why people choose you.
How I Can Be Helpful

For Families and Personal Stories
I help you stop feeling shy in front of the camera. I gently guide you on how to stand, what to do with your hands, what to wear — but without pressure and without the classic “one, two, three… smile.”
I take care of the children during the shoot: I give them time to warm up, I don’t expect perfect behavior, and I turn the whole process into a game. Very often, the favourite photos come exactly from those moments.
I also think about what it will be like many years from now: how your children will look at these photographs, which album you’ll put them in, and what you will feel as you turn the pages.

For Business Clients
I plan each shoot so that it actually solves your business goals rather than just “ticking a box” on a to-do list.
I know how to work in a consistent, systematic way: restaurant menus, product catalogues, content for regular social media posts. It’s important to me that the images work well together and look cohesive as a whole.
I take care of the details and the timing — from preparation to delivering the final files. You don’t have to keep everything in your head — I’ll suggest the shoot structure, formats and angles myself, and I’ll help you get ready for the process.
How I Approach Each Shoot
I’m all about real interaction and honesty in the frame.
At a family shoot, I never ask a child to “hurry up and smile for the camera.” We’ll run around, sit, talk, be silly — and somewhere in between I’ll catch that very look or hug that the whole shoot is really about.
At a business shoot, I won’t expect you to pose like a professional model. Together we’ll find your best angles and talk about what kind of image matters for your profession: more formal, more approachable, more creative. I’ll help you see yourself through your clients’ eyes — but without masks or anything “plastic.”

What matters to me is:
- respect for people and their boundaries;
- neatness and sensitivity to the space (your home, office or restaurant is your territory, and I treat it with care);
- honest colours and natural editing — without the “over-filters” that take the life out of faces.
A few reviews that mean a lot to me
Words like these are my biggest motivation. They remind me why I do what I do.

Inna Blazer
My grateful recommendation to photographer Olga Kulik. Olga is a wonderful photographer! She knows how to see beauty and convey it. And she does it very naturally and delicately!

Victoria Rossi
When I choose a photographer, I always look for 3 things: ease of communication and dynamics, great photo quality and meeting timings and deadlines. Olya hits the bull’s-eye on all three points time after time!
And a Little Bit More Personal
I love watching people. How they laugh, argue, dream, how they hold a child’s hand or a cup of coffee.
I love the sea, soft light and those moments when the city slows down.
Photography has taught me something important: there is no “later”. There is only now.
And my greatest joy is helping you preserve this “now”.

Let’s make your photographs an important part of your story
If my approach feels close to you and you recognise yourself in these words, it means we’ll definitely get along and create something special together.
Whether you’re dreaming of a family shoot, children’s portraits, a love story session — or you finally want to have proper photos for your website and social media — just send me a message.
